The Bad Boys of Destiny are back and this rugged Alpha is in for the surprise of his life when he comes back to town.

Ten years ago, Duke King knew that getting involved with Grace Truman would only bring trouble into his already hard life. After all, the son of the town drunk has no business falling for the judge’s daughter…a passion that led to disaster and ended with Duke serving a ten year prison sentence. Duke never wanted to return to Destiny, especially now that he’s built a multimillion dollar custom car empire with his brothers. But when his sick aunt calls him home, he must face his past and discover a secret that instantly changes his life.

Grace never thought she would see Duke again, especially after years of silence. But when Duke comes storming back into her life, looking hotter than ever, and determined to get to know the son he never knew he had, she realizes that maybe she’d been wrong about him so many years ago. So Grace decides to make Duke a bet. If he can stay in the house with them for the next thirty days and prove he’ll be a good father, she’ll agree to letting him be part of his son’s life. If not, he’d better be prepared for a fight.

Going from single guy to family man isn’t going to be easy for Duke, especially with the still sexy, now fiery, Grace clouding his every thought. Can Duke be the man he never thought he could be or will his old bad boy ways be too much to conquer?

Grace Truman was the "good girl" of Destiny, Nevada. She was the daughter of a judge. She was sweet, innocent and loved by all, but Grace fell in love with Duke King, of the notorious King family. Even though Duke felt Grace deserved better, he fell for her, too. They would sneak around and meet on the sly. Grace was headed for an Ivy League school to become a doctor, but turned down the scholarship so she could stay in Destiny with Duke. When Duke heard this, he broke up with Grace. He wanted better things for her and didn't want her to resent him later in life because she gave up her "dream". When Duke broke up with Grace, Grace went on a date with Duke's nemesis to make him jealous. And it worked. Duke basically followed them on their date, and when the guy backhanded Grace, Duke was all over him. Duke ended up in prison for several years for attempted murder.
Thirteen years later, Duke and his brothers are called back to Destiny by their aunt Lolly who took them in when their father skipped town. Lolly wants the "boys" to stay in town for 30 days and make amends with their pasts.
Duke has become a millionaire with is custom car repair shops and tv show. He has no desire to hang in Destiny, but will do anything for his aunt. Duke and his brothers are all wealthy, hunky and famous.
What Duke didn't know, but Lolly did, was that Duke and Grace had a 13 year old son in need of a father. When Duke "meets" his son outside Ryder's grandfather's house causing trouble, Duke takes one look at Ryder and knows the truth. By why didn't Grace tell him he was a father?
Because this is a trilogy there are several events in the book that the reader is familiar with, but you are reading it from a different character's perspective. Duke is rough around the edges, but a good man at heart. He and Grace have a lot to overcome for Ryder's sake. The heat is there, but Duke is needed back in Las Vegas and Grace and Ryder's home is Destiny where her father lives. Will they be able to mesh their lives together and make things work to become a real family unit?

Betting the Bad Boy The Bad Boys of Destiny edition by Sugar Jamison Contemporary Romance eBooks Reviews

This book was along the line of the 1st store in this trilogy. Pretty good. I enjoyed it.
Not as much humor and sizzle as the first book in the series but excellent character development.
This story had so many emotions to it Duke who was so in love, but also afraid of being hurt or rejected. His brought out a different kind of love, the relationship with him and his brothers a winner, thanks Sugar, now I anticipate Levi's story. If you're an avid reader you really need to get this.
Sadly Nope No - Not Good - Had the Potential to be a Great Read - but was jumpy the timeline didn't work and the dialog was terrible I had such high hopes for this book and potential two others
Duke King and his brothers are too funny when they are all get together and have to travel back to Destiny, the town where people treated them like dirt when they were growing up. Now Duke, Levi and Colt are billionaires and about to discover a secret that Grace, the girl Duke went to jail for, has been keeping for the last 13 years.
Can a bad boy ex con turned millionaire find love with the former good girl turned single mother? Thank goodness the answer is yes. I love how Duke and Grace's storyline is woven into the first book of the series but, still remains its own story. Their journey was painful but, shaped each of them into stronger individuals. Once again brought together by Duke's meddling, loveable, eccentric aunt Lolly their story beautifully unfolds. This story will make laugh, cry and sigh out loud. Another great book Sugar!!
I love the bad boys of Destiny, I feel in love with Duke in Colt's book and was glad that he was getting his story, I love Grace, she is a hard working single mom who wanted to prove that she was more than a rich daddy's girl, her world was turned upside down when her son's father came back to town, Duke was a man trying to prove that he wasn't trash just because his father was a abusive drunk and he made a mistake one night defending the woman he loved, Loved the relationship between Duke and Ryder, loved seeing them get to know each other after so many years, Glad that Duke and Grace got their HEA!! Can't wait for Levi and Shelly's story!!
